Provides thousands of volunteer hours of diverse support to the Monroe County Sheriffís Office in many different disciplines that include but are not limited to patrol duties, information technology support, administration, site security, traffic slow down, inmate supervision, bailiff/court security, public liaison, public affairs, senior welfare checks, law enforcement Task Force participation, vehicle transport in addition to search and rescue.

The volunteers who participate in this valuable program have completed and have passed testing required by rigorous state mandated training. The training and experience that the auxiliary deputies are gaining and providing in various positions are in support of the full time deputies, managers and administrators. The result is that they are qualified in each of the areas they work in for providing to the public and the Sheriffís Office the highest quality service.
