On October 21, 2025, members of the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office, in coordination with the Tenth Judicial District Drug Task Force, executed a felony arrest warrant on two subjects in the area of Watt Road in Sweetwater, Tennessee.
During the operation, investigators recovered several illegal substances and items, including several hundred orange-pressed fentanyl pills, fentanyl powder, multiple bags of methamphetamine, Alprazolam pills, a handgun, U.S. currency, and various items of drug paraphernalia.
Both individuals were taken into custody and transported to the Monroe County Jail, where they were booked on multiple charges.
There is a growing concern regarding the recent discovery of fentanyl pills being manufactured in bright, colorful forms. We are starting to see fentanyl pressed into pills with bright colors and designs that appear to be targeted toward younger individuals. These dangerous substances continue to pose a serious threat to our community, and our deputies and task force members remain committed to removing them from our streets.
