The Monroe County Sheriff’s Office is always looking for dedicated individuals to join our team of volunteers. Our volunteers contribute thousands of hours each year, providing vital support across many areas of our agency.
Volunteer roles include, but are not limited to, patrol duties, information technology support, administrative, court services, vehicle transport, and special unit participation.
Most of our volunteers-many serving as auxiliary deputies-have successfully completed and passed the state-mandated training and testing required for their positions. The training and experience they gain allow them to effectively support our full-time deputies, managers, and administrators.
As a result, our volunteers play an essential role in ensuring the Sheriff’s Office continues to provide the highest quality of service to the citizens of Monroe County.
