The Auxiliary Unit (some times known as Reserve Unit), is an amazing group of men and women who volunteer their time to the Sheriff’s Office. This unit is supervised by Captain Jim Hardin.
Each year, the Auxiliary Unit provides in excess of 1,000 hours of donated time to the citizens and visitors of Monroe County. This Unit helps keep response time to calls lower, provides a pool of applicants when Corrections or Road positions become available, assists with Special Operations, Criminal Investigative Division and in all other aspects of the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office.
Our team:
The Auxiliary Unit receives the Same training that all full time deputies receive
