Adopt a Pet and See Sheriff K9 Demo
The Monroe County Sheriffs Office would like to invite you to the Monroe County Animal Shelter for their adoption event on September 7 starts at 11:30am. A K9 unit from the Sheriffs Office will be present for a demonstration, followed by a Q&A. Sheriff Tommy Jones will be in the "bite suit". Come see the K9 Unit in action and consider adopting a dog or cat that needs a good forever home.
The Monroe County Animal Shelter is located at 170 Kefauver Ln, Madisonville, TN 37354, behind Walmart.
The extensive training which the K9s and handlers do together is strongly evident, and their bond is obvious.
